At "I'm an Alzie", we believe that every person who has faced the challenges of dementia deserves to be remembered with dignity and love. Our Memorial Wall serves as a sacred space to honor the memories of those who have courageously battled this condition, and to celebrate the lives they lived.
Each name placed on this wall represents a unique story, a life filled with experiences, relationships, and contributions that have touched the hearts of family, friends, and community members. We recognize that behind every name is a person who laughed, loved, dreamed, and made a difference in the world.
In addition to being honored on our digital Memorial Wall, every name submitted will also be lovingly added to the "I'm an Alzie" commemorative benches placed in parks throughout Surprise, Arizona. These benches serve as peaceful places of reflection where community members can sit, remember, and find comfort in knowing that these precious lives continue to bring people together.
