Hosted by Banner Health, "Join Banner Alzheimer’s Institute for their 6th Annual Shine A Light on All Dementias event. This free event raises awareness for Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia during National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. There will be family activities, community resources, and a recognition ceremony in honor of the people who “shine a light” for those living with cognitive changes."

For Alzies, navigating the kitchen can be frustrating and sometimes dangerous, as memory lapses may lead to forgotten steps or unattended appliances. Simple tasks, like following a recipe or finding utensils, become challenging, impacting both safety and independence. With organized spaces and easy-to-use tools, however, the kitchen can remain a manageable and comforting place.
